COVID-19 has changed the world as we knew it. Until a vaccine or the coronavirus is no longer a threat, we’ve made some changes at Bella Lash & Beauty Bar. These changes will be modified or updated as we receive new requirements or guidances from our county, state, or fed. The following are the changes we have implemented for the safety of our clients and staff.
Check-in Process
- If you are sick or exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 we request that you stay home. Call or text us at 650.560.4466 to cancel or reschedule your appointment. At this time, we are waiving our cancellation fee. Your safety and ours is our number one concern.
- If you can, please check your temperature before you arrive. If you have a reading above 100.4 F, we request that you stay home. - When you arrive, please call or text us to let us know that you have arrived and wait in the car or outside our salon. Once our artist is available, we will call, text, or come out to check you in.
- We ask that all clients wear personal protective face masks when visiting the salon, and our staff will do the same. If you do not have a face mask we have a limited quantity available for purchase.
- Upon entering the salon please wash you hands.
- Your temperature will be taken to check for fever. If you have a temperature above 100.4 F, we will reschedule your appointment.
- Aside from parents of minors, all non-client guests must wait outside of the salon.
- New client must fill out our intake form(s) based on the service(s) to be rendered.
Salon Safety Protocols
- If staff are sick or exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19, they will stay home until they are no longer sick and verified that they are COVID-19 free. We will make all possible arrangements to reschedule your appointment with another artist or another day.
- Staff will have temperature checks 2x a day to check for fever.
- Staff will regularly clean & disinfect commonly used surfaces including credit card terminals, counters, reception area seating, door handles, light switches, toilets, and hand-washing facilities.
- Before every client, staff will clean & disinfect their station, chair, bed, fans, mirrors, and all tools.
- Staff will wash hands or use hand sanitizers before starting on clients.
- When in close contact with clients, service providers will wear personal protective equipment.
- Hand sanitizer or hand-washing facilities at every station available for clients and staff to use at any time.
- A UV-C Sanitizer Box is available for our clients to use to sterilize phone and/or keys.
- To lower the amount of touches, we have added the ability to pay by Zelle, Venmo, or Paypal. Credit card terminals are available.
- Please bring your own water, coffee, tea or other refreshments. We will no longer provide refreshments to help reduce touch points and customer interactions.
