- For best results following a cryo session, do not eat sugar 2 hours before and after the session.
- If possible, avoid all kind of sugar for 4 – 5 hours before and after the cryo session. 2 hours is the recommended time for best results.
- This applies to all kind of sugars (pasta, rice, bread, cereals…) and of course simple starches and sugars.
- The cold weakens and retracts the adipocyte [fat storage cell]. Consuming sugar will return immediate energy to these cells, so the apoptosis [cell death] effect will be less efficient and can even be canceled.
- The lymphatic system takes 15 days to complete an entire cycle. Results will improve over the 2 weeks following the session. Additional slimming sessions can be completed 2 weeks after a treatment.
- Avoid exercise directly before a session. It will be harder to cool the body down and complete the slimming effectively.
- For best results, maintain the best possible diet and lifestyle to accompany the treatment (drink plenty of water).
- Every client must fill out a waiver before starting treatment for both CryoSlimming and CryoToning.

Pre-Care Instructions
- Please remove all eye makeup with a mild, oil-free cleanser prior to your appointment. Eye makeup can interfere with the adhesive bond and shorten the lifespan of your lash extensions, so it’s very important your natural lashes be as clean as possible.
- Avoid oil based products on and around the eyes. Apply eye cream sparingly, if at all.
- Arrive showered with clean hair. You won’t be able to wet the lashes for the initial 24 hours after application. Showers, steam, and saunas are not permitted for the initial 24-48 hours after application.
- If you are a contact lens wearer, please remove them. This is a safety precaution and ensures you a pleasant and comfortable visit.
- Please visit the bathroom before your procedure to make you as comfortable as possible and to avoid delays.
- Every client must fill out a waiver before starting treatment
Post-Care Instructions
- Do not perm or tint lashes after eyelash extension application
- Do not use an eyelash curler to curl extensions (you will not need to curl your extensions)
- Be gentle when washing your eyes and lashes. Clean around the eyes with a washcloth then gently cleanse your lashes as instructed, an oil free foaming cleanser is best for the lash area. Do this daily
- Do not tug, twist, pick or pull at your extensions; avoid touching them as much as possible, you may be inadvertently pulling out your own natural lashes when doing this
- Avoid saunas, steam or exposure to high heat while wearing extensions
- Use caution when cooking; open your oven door and release the excess heat before reaching inside; this may singe your extensions if you are not careful
- If you choose to wear mascara – only apply it to the tips of the extensions and use water based mascara that washes off easily so that no scrubbing is needed
- Do not wear strip lashes on top of extensions, the strip adhesive leaves a residue causing low retention
- Do not try to remove the extensions on your own; call us and we will remove them safely, without harming your natural lashes
- Do not cut your extensions. The length can easily be adjusted at your next fill
- Remember to come in for regular touch-ups with clean lashes, usually 2 to 3 weeks
- Treat your eyes gently – as if you have makeup on that you do not want to smudge
- Brush and groom your lashes gently with a clean disposable mascara spoolie or eye shadow brush, not with your finders
- Try to sleep on your back or side, avoid smashing your lashes completely as you sleep
- When using night creams/serums, apply sparingly and blot off excess
- When you touch your lashes, always use upward, sweeping motions – no side to side rubbing at the lash line

Microblading Aftercare Instructions
AFTERCARE is very important. You must follow the steps below EXACTLY so that your eyebrows will heal into a nice natural color and last a long time. Remember that your eyebrows are healing so it is normal for your skin to be red, dark, and some will peel off within 3 weeks. Do not worry, after 4 weeks, the strokes will come back, then we can do the touch-up after 4 weeks.
DAY 1: Wash brows gently every hour with water and gentle soap ( Cetaphil preferred ) and pat dry. Apply a thin layer of skin candy.
DAY 2: Follow Day 1, but do this only 2 – 3 times total.
DAY 3 to 10: No more washing necessary. Keep brows as dry as you can. Apply skin candy 2 – 3 times a day, if you have normal to dry skin. Apply skin candy 1 – 2 times if you have oily skin.
Post-Care Dos and Don'ts
Each individual may heal differently and healing times may vary. Remember the permanent makeup is made to enhance your features not to replace makeup. In each procedure the appearance of your pigment will be darker than the final results. We suggest waiting at least 30-60 days for full healing before any touch ups.
- Keep area clean. Blot or rinse off oozing
- No scrubbing. Do not rub, wipe, or scratch area. Use patting motions only
- Soap/cleansers may be used as long as they are not alcohol based and do not have anti-aging acids or acne acids in it
- Keep moist with healing ointment at all times while outer healing occurs (3-5 days for eyes, 7-10 days for lips)
- Clients do best with water soluble or non-comedogenic/pore clogging products that let the skin breathe
- Use healing ointment continuously throughout the day until outer healing is complete. Apply antibiotic ointment twice a day for 2-3 days
- Keep in mind antibiotic ointment is more likely to cause a red itchy reaction with prolonged or continuous use
- Recommendation: Bacitracin, A&D, Aquaphor, GenTeal PM Ointment, or lip balm. GenTeal PM makes a great healing ointment after permanent eyeliner because it is ophthalmic/safe for eyes — you can also put some of it in the eyes if they are dry and irritated
- Treat area much remain dry, cover with a watertight bandage while showering
- Do not expose the area to full pressure of the shower. Clean it and keep ointment on it. Scabs that dry out take longer to heal
- A permanent makeup procedure is the equivalent of a skin-deep wound, a scab may form over the treated area in 3-7 days and fall off
- It is very important not to pick or pull at the scab; this will increase the risk of scarring and prolong recovery
- You may cool the skin a few times after permanent makeup procedure with cold pack for 10 mins for every couple of hours the first day. Do not overdo it. Inappropriate/overuse of the ice packs on fragile facial skin may cause cryotherapy complications
- Avoid strenuous activity for 2 days
- Do not compress your face in a pillow while sleeping, especially the first couple of days
- Use of sunblock after healing is completed will help prevent premature fading
- Do not swim in fresh, salt, or chlorinated water for 2 weeks. Avoid recreational water activities, gardening, contact with animals, or environments that would cause dirt or germs to contact area while healing
- Do not expose the tattoo to contact with animals or gardening activities
- If no allergies, ibuprofen may be used to reduce swelling and discomfort. If other medication is desired consult with your physician first
- Notify permanent makeup artist or physician at first sign of allergic reaction or infection. If you suspect a problem is developing, the first thing to do is switch the type of ointment you are using. The ointment is often the cause of the problem, however if it continues consult a physician immediately. An occasional slight healing itch is normal. Constant intense itching, abnormal thick yellow discharge, yellow crust, hot burning pain, lumps, bumps, blisters, redness, swelling, tenderness of the procedure site, red streaks going from the procedure site towards the heart, elevated body temperature, or purulent drainage from the procedure site are not normal
