How long does the Lash Lift take?

The YUMI Lash Lift treatment takes about 1 hour 30 min.

The Lashbox LA Lash Lift treatment takes about 1 hour.

What makes the Lash Lift treatment different from an eyelash perming?

Eyelash perming use very harsh chemicals that can severely damage or break the natural lash, and can do a lot of damage to the eye if there is a bad application. The YUMI Lash Lift takes your natural lashes and delicately lifts them from the root to make them appear longer and more full. Your eye will appears bigger and the lashes appear longer. YUMI Lash Lift is made in France and formula is a very gentle keratin protein treatment that adds nutrients and vitamins into the eyelashes. It’s hypo-allergenic, cruelty free, and extremely nourishing.

How long does this treatment last for, and how often can I get it done?

This treatment lasts anywhere from 8 – 12 weeks, or a whole cycle of the natural eyelash. Eyelashes grow and naturally fall out in a lash cycle every 2-3 months. Normally around week 3-4 you may notice new straight lashes growing in among the previously lifted lashes. Then your mascara will tuck the straight lashes up with the already lifted ones but you may want to consider booking another treatment In the coming weeks. Most of our clients come for treatment every 6 to 10 weeks.

I have really short lashes or not much lashes can I get a Lash Lift?

Yes of course. You may be really pleased with the results and realize your eyelashes are actually longer than you thought.

What’s the difference between a lash lift and eyelash extensions?

With YUMI Lashes,  no artificial lashes are added to the natural lashes. Instead, the existing lashes are lifted and tinted to create longer, thicker and darker looking lashes. With eyelash extensions, synthetic or mink lashes are applied to your natural lash using adhesives.

I have eyelash extensions, can I get a Lash Lift?

You would need to remove them at least 3 days to 1 week prior to appointment. If you like, we can remove your eyelash extensions and book your Lash Lift appointment. For detailed information refer to our care information page.

Can I get eyelash extensions after a Lash Lift?

Yes of course. We’ve had customers that applied eyelash extension within a week after getting the Lash Lift.

Are there anything I need to do before my appointment?

Is the Lash Lift treatment just for women?

Definitely not. We have had men come in for this treatment.

Can I get the treatment done if i'm pregnant or breast feeding?

Absolutely! This treatment is 100% safe for any new mom, or mom to be. However, with all the additional hormones in the body during the time of pregnancy, or postpartum, there is no guarantee the treatment will take the curl pattern of your natural eyelashes.
